OUR STORY

Faith Christian Church was founded in 1953 from a mid-week prayer meeting by a small group of people who were believing for a move of God in their local community. Over the last 60 years we have had incredible Senior Ministers, including Ps Alun & Joan Davies who loved and pastored the church for 30 years.

FaithCC is one church that meets in multiple locations. In a nutshell, we believe in connecting with others and being empowered to live fruitful lives. We are passionate about people encountering the life-changing message of Jesus, we are passionate about making disciples, and we are passionate about helping our community – both locally and internationally. 

Here are FaithCC you will find a passionate and vibrant church community that has a range of exciting programs and events. All of our Sunday services are energetic, engaging and welcoming. 

We have four core values, that we believe are imperative to our life as believes:

DEVOTED: Our walk with God begins with devotion. We are not called to a set of religious rules but to a relationship with Jesus Christ, that is build out of a strong sense of devotion and surrender. The gospel we preach speaks of a personal encounter with Jesus Christ that is intimate and life changing.

EMPOWERED: Acts 1:8 says “you shall receive power…”There is power to live the Christian life! Out prayer is that every believer in our church understands the authority and power God has given us through what Jesus Christ did on the cross.

CONNECTED: As a group of believers from different parts of the world and different stages in life, we are all connected through the common bond of our faith in Jesus Christ. We are connected in heart, values and passion to God and each other, connected to the purpose of Christ and connected to the vision of the church.

FRUITFUL: The purpose of the discipleship process in people’s lives if Godly fruitfulness. Discipleship is a process where God forms and shapes us for the purpose of being fruitful and productive for Him. We can be fruitful in all areas – relationship, family, business and how we serve the Kingdom of God.

Matt & Franca Heins

Ps Matt & Ps Franca Heins joined the team at Faith Christian Church in 2010 and officially took over the role of Senior Ministers in 2012. They share a passion for God and for the Church and believe in championing people to live out their best life with God. 

Ps Matt has been in senior church leadership for over 25 years. He is known for his heart for the nations and his passion to see souls won for Christ. Ps Matt’s passion, hunger for the supernatural and practical teachings see him speak often, both locally and internationally.

Ps Matt is a part of the ACC Victoria State Executive & ACC National Executive and also sits on the board at Faith Christian Church, ACCI Missions and We Care Community Services. 

Together, Ps Matt and Ps Franca have raised 3 wonderful children and are known as some of the most genuine, loving and Christ-hungry people you will meet.

Mark & Bernie Anderson

Dandenong campus pastors

Mark and Bernie Anderson lead our church's creative teams across all locations as well as pastoring our Dandenong campus. Doing a great job managing their busy worlds as well as their busy roles. Our Dandenong campus is in the heart of the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. They are fond of good food, good music and sport.
