Faith Academy combines formal study with practical ministry experience, to create a space where your faith can deepen and your leadership can flourish.

We want to challenge you to give one year full-time, or two to four years part-time, to discovering God’s calling on your life through Bible College and hands on ministry experience.
This is about real, practical growth that prepares you to lead wherever God places you.
Study
We partner with Alphacrucis University College to provide accredited study pathways that build a strong biblical and leadership foundations.
Each course combines flexible online learning with in-person support and community, helping you grow in knowledge and faith.
In 2026, students can enrol in the
Diploma of Leadership, designed to develop both theological understanding and practical ministry skills. For those who already hold an undergraduate qualification, postgraduate options are available in: Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Theological Studies, and the Graduate Diploma of Leadership.
Ministry Placement
Ministry Placements are designed to immerse you in the life of the church while developing your gifts and leadership.
You’ll be part of a team, serving alongside leaders in various ministry settings. Each placement provides intentional mentoring, practical experience and opportunities for spiritual growth.

FAQs
Do I have to enrol in bible college?
Yes. Ministry placement is designed to help you grow in your spiritual gifts, knowledge and ministry as well as practical experience. Bible College is a key component in equipping you in these areas. Though you can do Bible college with no ministry placement.
Can I be involved in more than one area?
Yes. Although we will limit your involvement to one main area of ministry per semester to give you an in-depth experience and increase your learning opportunities.
What is the cost?
The only cost associated with Faith Academy is the tuition fee paid directly to Alphacrucis University College for your chosen qualification. For specific information visit the Alphacrucis Finance page
Eligible students can apply for FEE-HELP, an Australian Government loan scheme that covers tuition fees.
How many hours of study per week?
We recommend 6-8 hours of study per subject to get the most our of your studies. This study time would include; lectures; additional seminar or tutorials; preparation time for class; completion of required assessments.
Is academy possible if I work full time or have other commitments?
Yes! Faith Academy is designed with flexibility in mind. Many of our students balance study and ministry with work, family, or other responsibilities. Ministry Placements are scheduled around your availability, and study through Alphacrucis University College offers flexible online learning options.
When is does the program start?
We have a start of the year intake, beginning in late February, and a mid year intake beginning in late July.
