"Now here is what I am trying to say: All of you together are the one Body of Christ, and each one of you is a separate and necessary part of it." (1 Cor 12:27 TLB)

Paul reminds us that we are all a part of the Body of Christ – the church in the world today. Every one of us is a “necessary part” of the Body of Christ. As such we have a role and responsibility in the body and each of us needs to be sure that we function in our respective roles and fulfil our God given responsibilities. We each have a function – a ministry and a contribution that is vital to the healthy function of the Body of Christ – as each of us functions in the body so the body will be strong and effective. When any one of us is not operating as we should in the body then the whole body suffers. Let us determine to fulfil our God given function in the body so the church will be strong and effective in our world today.

These next few months contain many exciting ministry opportunities. We will have world renowned ministry, powerful evangelistic opportunities, and exciting events that give us the opportunity to reach our friends for Christ, pray for our families and our church, and strengthen our relationships in the body. I hope you will be involved and participate in the special opportunities we provide for you.

In July we held our missions convention and so far the missions pledges have reached $250,000. Our goal for the next year is to give $450,000 to missions. In doing so we will help children in several nations, plant new churches in needy nations, train leaders, minister to the poor, help people out of the bondage of poverty, and build the Kingdom of God. But for this to be effective we need you to become a part of this vision with us – so please make your missions pledge today so we can bring blessing to many needy people.

The full purpose and plan of God for each of us is realized as we function together in unity in the Body of Christ. Join us in our vision and unite yourself in fellowship as we seek together to be a church of significant influence impacting our world.
