"Now here is what I am trying to say: All of you together are the one Body of Christ, and each one of you is a separate and necessary part of it." (1 Cor 12:27 TLB)

Paul reminds us that we are all a part of the Body of Christ – the church in the world today. Every one of us is a “necessary part” of the Body of Christ. As such we have a role and responsibility in the body and each of us needs to be sure that we function in our respective roles and fulfil our God given responsibilities. We each have a function – a ministry and a contribution that is vital to the healthy function of the Body of Christ – as each of us functions in the body so the body will be strong and effective. When any one of us is not operating as we should in the body then the whole body suffers. Let us determine to fulfil our God given function in the body so the church will be strong and effective in our world today.

These next few months contain many exciting ministry opportunities. We will have world renowned ministry, powerful evangelistic opportunities, and exciting events that give us the opportunity to reach our friends for Christ, pray for our families and our church, and strengthen our relationships in the body.
